A video highlighting our favorite state? You betcha!
In collaboration with the producers, AV Sqaured and Patrick Murphy, Kohlitz helped create this promotional Michigan video for Kroger’s Michigan Division. The Kroger MI Division had the honor of hosting this year’s national meeting and wanted to kick off the conference with a video that exemplified their pride in their store and state. We had a lot of wonderful things to say about Kroger-Michigan, from their local goods to their ethnic diversity to their wonderful staff, and we discovered the best way to say it all, was to show it all! We opted for a multi-paneled video that offered many views and constant movement that keeps the viewers’ attention and moved to the beat of the music. The video was a success and having the opportunity to gush about our own favorite state, was a bonus too!

That’s number one. Before this store closes today nearly 3,000 more customers will arrive at this Kroger store. Over 350,000 customers every day in Michigan.
We are Kroger-Michigan, proud of our stores and of our state.
Which by the way is pretty great. We share four of the Great Lakes, and have over 11,000 inland lakes all to ourselves.
We may be solid mid-westerners, but we are anything but land-locked.
Our farms are among the most diverse and productive in the nation, and the manufacturing sector is showing signs of recovery.
The Michigan Kroger Division, with 124 stores and almost 18,000 associates is firmly placed as one of the dominant grocery retailers in the state.
Our roots here are deep. The first Michigan Kroger stores here were established in 1909.
But our real growth in the state begins in 1990 when we began acquiring some of the most sought after local grocery chains.
Between 1990 and 2007 we grew, from just over 50 stores to our present size.
We acquired some great facilities in these acquisitions, but the key asset was the people that came with them.
Division wide, we look to our associates, across our division, to provide the friendly service our customers want.
Day in, day out.
Our hard work is complimented by the fact that many of the goods we sell are made right here in Michigan
A state where dairy production is the heart of our farming community.
One of a fortunate handful of states that supports a thriving local wine industry.
Home to farmers, processors, and brewers who grow a bounty of fruits, vegetables, and other produce.
Our customers love to buy local.
And we actively remind them that they can find local products right here on our shelves.
If you’re loyal to your state, you will be loyal to the store that serves you.
Building customer loyalty means something special when you live in one of the most ethnically diverse states in the country.
It’s just common sense and good business.
We at Kroger believe that being responsive and involved in our communities is part of our mission.
Our associates and our customers show their strong commitment and pride by supporting local community activity.
When customers feel good about us, we feel good about ourselves.
We at Kroger Michigan feel fortunate to live in a state with such great natural beauty, a grand history, and limitless potential.
We are more than just a company in Michigan.
We are part of a great community, a proud retailer, serving the daily needs of hundreds of thousands of our friends and neighbors.
Let us welcome you to our state, our division, and our home.
And invite you to know us better.
