UMRA Promotional Animation
Being retired doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! The University of Michigan Retiree Association (UMRA) is a group for any retired faculty or staff member of the University of Michigan. It helps them remain connected to the university and with one another with events, trips and organized get togethers.
Kohlitz was hired to create a promotional animation highlighting these features and energizing its’ base. The pace, colors, friendliness of the graphics, and choice of animating the characters doing lively activities was all made in mind with the idea of showing retirement can be fun and active! We had fun drawing and animating graphics of many parts of Michigan to emphasize UMRA’s local and active involvement. From Ann Arbor’s Michigan Theater to the Mackinac Bridge to the “Spirit of Detroit” sculpture, these are all icons any Michigander would recognize.
And hey, if you yourself are a UM faculty or staff and are about to retire, consider joining UMRA!
A time for living. A time for learning.
A time for leisure. And a time for travel. Drum roll …
A chance to do something new, something you’ve never had a chance to do before!
And, as a U of M retiree, a chance to stay connected with friends and meet other retirees.
To meet others like you who are part of U of M’s rich history and tradition.
And of course, to receive the many U of M retiree benefits.
You get many benefits as a retiree, but the best one is UMRA!
As a member of the university of Michigan retirees association you can network with other UMRA members
Through monthly programming designed to engage you –
And important financial and retirement topics to enlighten you,
While educating you on relevant policy updates that affect your health and security
With plenty of time for fun! Like day trips that open the door to new, lasting connections!
With UMRA, you’ll have many reasons to:
Get connected. Feel connected. Stay connected.
The University of Michigan retirees association: join us!
Make the connection!
